Our Story

Family-owned Alpaca Farm

Welcome to The Mill at Stoney Meadows Alpacas! We're a small, family-run farm tucked away in Clarendon, New York, where we’ve been raising our herd of Huacaya alpacas since 2012.

What started as a love for these amazing animals quickly grew into breeding, and eventually, our very own mini artisan fiber mill. Everything we do here is a true family effort, and we pour our hearts into taking care of our animals and turning their beautiful fiber into something special.

Owner, Theresa Jewell, is not only the heart of the farm but also an incredibly talented fiber artist and a fiber arts judge. She shares her knowledge through weaving and spinning lessons right here on the farm.

We’d love for you to come visit us and see what we’re all about. And don’t forget to say hi to Apollo, our loyal guardian pup, while you're here!

Come spend a little time with us—we think you'll fall in love with the alpacas just like we did.

Our Commitment

At The Mill at Stoney Meadows, we’re all about sharing our love for fiber arts and quality craftsmanship with our community. We believe spinning should be accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring for everyone—whether you’re just getting started or have been spinning for years.

That’s why we offer top-quality products and hands-on, friendly instruction to help bring your creative ideas to life. There’s nothing better than seeing fellow fiber lovers grow their skills and confidence—and we’re honored to be part of that journey as they create beautiful, handmade yarns from start to finish.
